Oh, God, please save Wall Street!

September 25, 2008

In a column in January 2007 I published this word I believe I received from the Lord in September 2006. In the light of a call in the last day or two for worldwide repentance and prayer by some preachers in the USA in order that the current crisis on Wall Street be reversed and the prosperity of the few preserved, I am now compelled to publish it again.

“America, I made you the custodians of My Word for the sake of the new free world but now, like Judah and Israel of old, you abuse your responsibility, thinking that you are above accountability for that custodianship and the sin that now swamps your land. Stand by my custodianship, lest I remove it entirely and bring about an event that will leave even your President stricken with fear, wide-eyed and aghast.”

America and all your “kissing cousin” nations, God is not calling for repentance and prayer for the saving of the “temple of mammon” on Wall Street, or the lifestyles of the prosperous few – Christian or otherwise.

God is calling for repentance and prayer by all believers, beginning with America, in order that the sinful, libertarian lifestyles of the perverted and the permeation of the doctrines of demons imbued in imported foreign religions be overturned in order that the souls who embrace them will repent and be saved. “Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead”, Acts 17:30-31.

America and your “kissing cousin” nations, get back to preaching the total Word of God! Put away all the “feel-good worship” that entertains but does not enlighten the world and return to preaching the Word of God. Return to calling “all” to repentence that they may be saved. The lost tend to be inconsequential in the today’s pursuit by gatherings to be the best performing church on the block! And stop deceiving the lost by preaching the soft, unscriptural, number-creating message – “ just receive Jesus into your heart and you will be saved”.

Now it is time to repent of all this deception and call all men and woman everywhere to “repent and be converted that their sins may be blotted out and seasons of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord”, Acts 3:19. Let us “Seek and save the lost”, which was Christ’s mandate from the Father and must be ours also, for nothing else matters to the Father and nothing else must matter to us.

Don’t fear – ‘all out’ nuclear war is not possible!

September 18, 2008

If you and I were to believe all the headlines about Russia’s current activities in Europe, South America, Syria and Cuba, and Iran’s current nuclear plans, we would assume ‘all out’ nuclear war is but days away. Yet folks there are other voices out there who have been saying since the 60’s that ‘all out’ nuclear war is not a physical possibility.

So what about these headlines of the past few days:

·         Russia gives NATO 21 days to leave the Black Sea.

·         Russia wants Arctic riches.

·         Russia’s stock market crashes.

·         Rice to make ‘significant’ speech on Russia.

·         Russia threatens to seize swathe of Arctic.

·         Russia to help Cuba build space centre.

·         NATO stands by Georgia.

·         Russia slams NATO for “cold war” visit to Georgia.

·         Kuwait living in fear of nuclear Iran.

·         Iran continues to stonewall IAEA on nuclear ambitions.

·         Iran boasts its forces can control Gulf.

·         IAEA shows photos alleging Iran nuclear missile works.

Details of these are available at:

Makes one want to put their head in the sand doesn’t it? Unfortunately one can no longer do that – not even Christians because the current times would appear to be intentionally planned to create chaos on a scale so enormous no one will be untouched by its fall out. But, as for that fall out being nuclear, I have had doubts about the validity of that physical possibility since I read the work of retired New Zealand Airlines pilot Bruce Cathie in the 70’s. Bruce has written several books since the late 60’s and in His book The Energy Grid – Harmonics 695 he makes a strong argument against the physical possibility of ‘all out’ nuclear war:

I know some of you will be wondering why I have written about these matters, and you are welcome to question or criticize me for it. But let me say this: we as believers in Christ are not exempt from current world affairs or their planned consequences. I know that these headlines on TV, in newspapers etc, can be unsettling for some, ignored by others, but because they are intensifying day-after-day they can no longer be overlooked. I have no doubts that there is an agenda behind them – an agenda that has us in its sights!

My second encounter with Gabriel

September 14, 2008

Last week I had my second encounter with Gabriel – not THAT Gabriel, but a middle-aged Australian Aboriginal woman named Gabriel.

The first time I met Gabriel was at a revival meeting I held twelve months ago in the country town of Katanning in Western Australia. Gabriel came forward at the end of the evening’s lesson. As is my custom when people come forward for prayer, I asked her not to tell me anything about her life or about any illness she may have. She did look quite ill though, I must say.

She told me nothing and remained silent while I laid hands on her and waited for the Holy Spirit to reveal anything about her life to me. After a few minutes I said to her that the Holy Spirit revealed in a vision that a part of her body had been recently removed and this was causing her present, obvious illness. She acknowledged that this was true and that she recently had a kidney removed. Also she revealed that the doctors had given her three months to live. Upon hearing this I asked several others to gather around, lay hands on her with me, and to pray for her recovery.

Yet now, nine months later, there she was standing in a Katanning meeting hall waiting for me to start a new session of Bible teaching. I was so delighted to see her that in my excitement I blurted out, “Gabriel, I thought you had gone home to be with the Lord!” Ah, well, we all trip over our tongues from time-to-time.

After I hug and some more excited exchanges about her obvious good health I found out that she has been healthy from the evening of the first encounter twelve months before. We both praised God for her healing and rejoiced about it several times during the day!
